Overdrive

Half of the year is officially gone, so what does that mean to u? I'll tell u what it means to me...

First off, EVERYTHING needs to be kicked up to MAX. I'm always amazed at what a man can do, even when he feels like he can do no more. More amazing still, is what a man can do when his resources seem to be depleted..

Its so dope to be able to conjure beauty from ashes! Now I'm not gonna lie, there's never been a shortage of ashes in my beloved city, but that's cool, because hope truly does spring eternal here. No cliche, no pretense. I just happen to find it amidst the ash, on the same tar where I used to play stick ball and skelly as a boy. Its not so ugly after all, the tar, especially when I see it now, like I saw it then. This is the same hope that delivers breath to nostrils, and light to eyelids, no matter how dark it was yesterday. Its so nice to know the source of that spring...

Cheers to all who hope against hope, and fight on, even when blood blinds the eyes. This is our year and our life; yours and mine. Now get ya ass out there and conquer something before the second half comes to an end!

okay so its been awhile since I've posted something of note on here, and I understand that a blog needs to be kept up to keep being followed, so I decided to show you what's been taking up pretty much ALL of my time of late...

I will be hosting my very own online radio show on WWW.DTFRADIO.COM every Monday, starting tonight @ Midnight. The show will be centered on music production and all of its facets, discovery of new talented producers, compelling segments such as "The Cage" which pits rival producers against each other in a live on-air battle of the beats, and much more.

I am extremely honored to have the legendary DJSCRATCH as my first guest on the show tonight. He is responsible for some of the biggest records ever made in Hip-Hop, as well as having been a part of over 30 Million records sold worldwide, and several Grammy nominations, so you can understand why I'm so hyped for tonight.

Also, my Co-host Music Mystro, is an absolute beast on the production tip, and he's done joints for several major acts, such as The Diplomats, The Clipse, etc.

If you know me, you know I don't like shamelessly plugging, but this show is going to be the first of its kind ANYWHERE, and I will do my best to make it worth your time...
